Off-Road Park Rules & Regulations
Off-Road Park Rules & Regulations
Welcome to Three Ridges Events Off-Road Park in Hinsdale, NH. These rules exist to protect you, your fellow guests, and the trails we've all worked hard to build. Please read them in full before your visit. All guests are required to follow these rules as a condition of entry. Failure to comply may result in removal from the property without refund.
Before You Arrive
- Passes & Admission — All trail access and camping passes must be purchased in advance through our online store. Have your booking confirmation accessible at check-in.
- Liability Waiver — All guests must sign the Liability Waiver before accessing any trails or facilities. Waivers should be completed online prior to arrival.
- Permitted Vehicles — Three Ridges Events is a 4x4 off-road park. Only 4x4s, Jeeps, and capable off-road vehicles are permitted on the trails. ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides (SxS), dirt bikes, and motorcycles are not permitted. Not sure if your rig qualifies? Email us at info@ThreeRidgesEvents.com before booking.
- Group Size — A minimum of two people is required for all trail access — no solo riders. We recommend groups of no more than six vehicles to maintain safe trail flow and minimize congestion. Clubs or larger groups are welcome — simply divide into smaller groups upon arrival. Solo driver looking for a group to join? No problem, reach out via Email or our Facebook Group and we can help.
- Know the Ratings — Review our Trail Ratings page before your visit. Stay on trails appropriate for your experience level and your vehicle's capabilities.
Vehicles & Equipment
- Vehicle Condition — All vehicles must be in safe, functional operating condition. Non-negotiables include working brakes and no active fluid leaks.
- Recovery Equipment — Every vehicle must carry appropriate recovery gear. We recommend a minimum of: recovery straps, front and rear tow points, a winch with tree saver, a hi-lift or recovery jack, a spare tire, an air pump, and traction boards.
- Fire Extinguisher — Every vehicle must carry a fire extinguisher. No exceptions.
- Passengers — All occupants must be properly seated inside the vehicle with seat belts fastened at all times while in motion. Riding in truck beds, on hoods, or in any unsecured position is strictly prohibited.
- Noise — Exhausts must be reasonably quiet. Excessive revving, loud stereos, and disruptive noise in common areas or near campsites are not permitted.
On the Trail
- Stay on Marked Trails — Drive only on designated, marked trails. Off-trail driving is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate removal from the property.
- No Reckless Driving — Racing, drifting, aggressive driving, or any behavior that endangers yourself or others is not tolerated.
- Speed Limit — 5 mph maximum in all camping and common areas.
- Know Your Limits — Do not attempt obstacles or terrain beyond your abilities or your vehicle's capabilities. Everyone is responsible for their own safety. Spotters are strongly recommended on technical terrain.
- Trail Direction — Some trails have designated travel directions. Always check the Live Map before heading out to stay current on trail flow and conditions.
- Communication — We strongly recommend all guests carry a communication device while on the trail. Park staff monitor GMRS/FRS Channel 19. Guests with a TrailLink device can also communicate with the team through the app.
- No Trail Modifications — Do not cut new lines, move obstacles or rocks, alter terrain features, or modify trails or trail markers in any way.
- Children — Must be supervised by an adult at all times.
Emergency Protocol
In any emergency, call 911 first.
For non-emergency assistance or to reach park staff while on the trail:
- 📞 Phone: (866) 367-0685
- 📻 Radio: GMRS/FRS Channel 19
- 🔴 TrailLink: Press the red button on the top of your TrailLink device to alert the park team
These contact methods are supplements to emergency services — they are not a replacement for calling 911. We strongly encourage all guests to carry a well-stocked first aid and trauma kit and, most importantly, to know how to use it before you need it.

- No Drinking and Driving — Operating any vehicle on the property while under the influence of alcohol or any impairing substance is strictly prohibited. Violators will be asked to leave the property immediately without refund, no exceptions.

- Generators — Permitted between 7:00 AM and 10:00 PM only. Must have a functioning muffler and spark arrestor.
- Trash — Pack it in, pack it out. Leave your campsite cleaner than you found it. Dumping of any kind is strictly prohibited.

- Check the Fire Danger Level Daily — Follow all posted signage regarding the current Fire Danger Level before starting or maintaining any fire. Hinsdale, NH falls within Forest Protection Bureau — Fire Danger Rating Area #4.

Drones and UAVs are permitted on the property. We love that guests share their experiences — fly responsibly and be courteous of others around you. Any damage to the drone, or any damage caused by the drone to vehicles, property, or other guests, is solely the responsibility of the operator or their legal guardian. Three Ridges Events assumes no liability for drone-related incidents.
