March Mayhem: A Challenging Day on the Trails
Our March Mayhem event lived up to its name, delivering a full day of challenging winter wheeling, teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments on the trails at Three Ridges Events & Off-Road Park.
We had a fantastic turnout with guests joining us from STL Offroad, Jeep Girl Mafia (JGM), and several other groups and independent riders. We were also glad to have visitors from the Hinsdale Economic Development Corporation and JustgoXplore stop by to experience the park and see what winter wheeling at Three Ridges is all about.
With the snow beginning to melt, the trails quickly turned into a true test of skill and perseverance. The changing conditions created slick climbs, deep ruts, and muddy sections that pushed both drivers and machines. There was plenty of winching throughout the day, but that only added to the experience.
One of the best parts of the day was watching the spirit of teamwork that defines the off-road community. Drivers spotted for one another, recovery gear came out often, and nobody faced an obstacle alone. Groups worked together to navigate the toughest sections, making sure every vehicle made it through safely.
By the end of the day, everyone rolled back in tired, muddy, and smiling—the perfect ending to a challenging day on the trails. It was great to see both familiar faces and new guests enjoying the park and supporting each other along the way.
March Mayhem marked our final winter riding event, and we’re excited for what comes next. As we head toward our spring opening, even more of the park will become accessible, opening up new trails, new challenges, and new terrain to explore.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back soon to experience Three Ridges in the spring—and to see what new adventures the trails have in store.
