Solo Wheeling Policy
We're always listening to your comments and concerns. Based on some popular feedback, we're updating our Solo Wheeling Policy.
Since day one, we have required a minimum of two vehicles on the trails out of an overwhelming concern for everyone's safety. After much conversation and feedback from our community on that subject, and after watching so many of you handle our terrain with real safety and skill, you have peaked our confidence.
Thanks to all of the feedback and the responsible manner of our community on our trail system, we are excited to open the trails to solo wheeling for experienced drivers with capable rigs who are geared up to handle emergencies on the trails.
To run solo at Three Ridges Events Off-Road Park, your rig will need to meet a few mandatory requirements:
- Working Winch
- Recovery points (ie. D-Shackles)
- Off-road / mud tires
- Working 4WD
- Working front or rear lockers
- Tree saver / recovery straps
- Cell phone
- GMRS/FRS radio
- Fire extinguisher.
- First aid kit
All requirements met? You're cleared to hit the trails on your own.
Newer to wheeling, or not yet comfortable on steep or rocky terrain? We still strongly encourage you to roll with a group. There's no better or more fun way to build your skills. Our community enjoys assisting those who are less experienced.
