Work and Wheel Day

Help open the trails in the morning, then be among the first to wheel them in the afternoon.

About this experience

Work and Wheel

Come help us build the next chapter of Three Ridges Events — then be among the first people to wheel it.

Our Work and Wheel day is a free volunteer event designed to bring the off-road community together while helping us open an exciting new section of trails at the park. Instead of purchasing a regular trail pass, participants contribute a few hours of trail-clearing work in the morning. After lunch, the rest of the day is yours to explore the park — including the opportunity to be among the first guests to see and try the new trails you helped open.

It is a great opportunity to experience Three Ridges at no cost, meet other people in the off-road community, and have a direct hand in expanding the trail system.

Event Timeline

  • 8:00–8:30 AM — Arrival & Check-In
Arrive at Three Ridges Events, get checked in, meet the team and other volunteers, and receive a brief overview of the morning's work.

  • 9:00 AM — Trail Work Begins
We will divide into groups and head out to the new trail areas. Work will primarily involve clearing brush, shrubs, small saplings, branches, and other vegetation needed to open the trail corridor.

  • Work at Your Own Comfort Level
Nobody will be asked to cut, carry, move, or operate anything they are not comfortable with. There will be a variety of tasks available for different abilities and experience levels.

  • Large or Hazardous Work Is Handled by Our Team
Large trees, dangerous cuts, difficult removals, or anything requiring specialized equipment or additional risk will be handled by the Three Ridges Events team — not volunteers.

  • 12:30 PM — Lunch & Refreshments
Trail work wraps up for the day and we will provide lunch and refreshments at no cost to everyone who participated.

  • After Lunch–4:00 PM — Time to Wheel
The work is done. Spend the rest of the afternoon exploring Three Ridges at your own pace, checking out familiar trails and getting an early look at the new areas being opened.

No Admission Fee — Your Labor Is the Fee

There is no charge to participate in Work and Wheel. A few hours helping us improve the park in the morning earns you the opportunity to enjoy the trails for the remainder of the day.

Whether you are already part of the Three Ridges community or have been looking for an opportunity to try the park for the first time, this is a great way to experience the property, meet other off-road enthusiasts, and help create trails that thousands of future guests will enjoy.

Trail Steward Waiver Required

Because volunteer trail work is not part of a standard guest trail pass, all participants involved in the morning work session must complete our additional Trail Steward Waiver before participating.

Our normal park rules and applicable guest waivers will also remain in effect while participants are wheeling the park.
